Renfrew County residents encouraged to apply for home renovation funding

If you were planning on renovating your home, you could get some help.

That’s because Ontario Renovates is now accepting applications, and Renfrew County residents are being urged to apply.

Michael Barber, Media Relations and Grants Coordinator with the county, says there’s a few rules to entering.

If successful, homeowners will be approved for home projects that total up to $10,000 through an interest-free forgivable loan.

However, Barber says there’s also $3500 available for accessible repairs made to a home that doesn’t require repayment.
