Businesses in Barry’s Bay are ready to unofficially kick off summer.

That’s because the Barry’s Bay BIA is hosting its annual Bay Day tomorrow, an event that showcases numerous businesses in town.

Ted Williamson, President of the BIA, says Bay Day really sees business ramp up for everyone.

Throughout the day there will be live music, balloon animals, games for kids, barbeques and one day sales from some businesses involved.

Williamson says one of the biggest attractions every year is a vintage car show.

Bay Day festivities go from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Opeongo Line in Barry’s Bay, which will be closed to traffic between Conway Street and Bay Street from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
