Police are reminding the public to practice safety this holiday season.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says you should keep your wallet and purse close when shopping and to only carry a small amount of cash. Keep gifts out of sight in your vehicle when shopping so that thieves don’t break in.
As part of the OPP’s Lock It or Lose It initiative, police say you should park your vehicle somewhere that is lit well. Close the windows and lock the doors.
