UPDATE: Hydro One says the outage was caused by a tree falling on a main line. Madawaska Valley Fire Chief Corwin Quade says this caused a small grass fire, which was put out by firefighters.
UPDATE: Power has been restored to all customers as of 10:00pm, no cause for the outage released by Hydro One.

Nearly 6000 Hydro One customers are without power in Madawaska Valley.
Hydro One says the outage happened just before 7:00pm, with an estimated restoration time of 10:00pm Sunday night.
Crews have been dispatched and Hydro One says the cause of the outage is still pending classification.
