Bancroft OPP wants drivers to be careful for pedestrians and cyclists.

This comes after officers investigated two collisions in Bancroft in just three days; one involved a cyclist, the other involved a pedestrian.

Police say the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in a parking lot off Hastings Street North in Bancroft last Friday evening. The woman who was hit wasn’t hurt, and didn’t have to go to the hospital. The elderly woman behind the wheel is not facing any charges, but her driver’s licence is now under review.

Then on Sunday afternoon, officers responded to a crash on Station Street where a vehicle hit a cyclist. The cyclist wasn’t badly hurt, but there was minor damage done to both the bike and the vehicle. No charges were laid.
