OPP stop results in charges for Pembroke driver

A 31-year-old Pembroke woman is facing charges after being stopped by police.

The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says the woman was stopped in Pembroke on Wednesday.  She is facing charges of not complying with her recognizance, driving while suspended and possession of cocaine and cannabis marijuana.  Her vehicle was also towed and impounded for seven days.

The accused was held for a bail hearing the next day and was released with a court date of December 1st.
