If you’re grieving, Madawaska Valley Hospice and Palliative Care wants to make sure you can do it your way.
Grief Support Groups are coming to the area for any residents who need it. Dawn Cruchet, a retired grief educator and councillor, says a lot of the time when someone is grieving they just want to share memories.
Cruchet says that anyone can attend the support groups, whether their loved one died years ago or more recently.
Lisa Hubers, Executive Director of Madawaska Valley Hospice and Palliative Care says this isn’t the first time MV Hospice has held grief support groups.
Hubers says 12 people came to the support groups the first time they were held, and depending on turnout for the upcoming sessions more could be planned for the fall.
