OPG: Low Water Levels in Bark Lake Not a Concern

While water levels in Bark Lake aren’t very high right now, it’s nothing to worry about.

That’s according to Neal Kelly, Director of Media Information at Ontario Power Generation, who says the expectation is that the water levels will rise as snow melts.

Kelly says that after the flooding in the area last year, OPG has looked at what can be done to avoid it happening again.

Kelly says the current water level in Bark Lake is about three metres lower than it was at this time last year.
