Madawaska Valley is getting closer to filling some vacant positions at the township offices.
The recruitment process is now in the interview stage to fill three positions with the township including Combermere Facilities Coordinator, CAO/Clerk, and Recreation and Community Development Coordinator.
The Recreation position has been vacant since July 2017, but Mayor Kim Love says she knows just how important it is to the township.

Love says it’s also important to fill the CAO role as that’s one that effects most township staff.
Love says in the past, it’s been tough finding candidates for the CAO/Clerk position.
The Combermere Facilities Coordinator will handle areas in Combermere like the Community Centre for events and hall rentals.
