A number of Madawaska Valley Township employees have been recognized for their services.
The township held its annual service awards after Tuesday night’s council meeting, which saw multiple municipal employees honoured for their services to Madawaska Valley anytime between the last 5 to 30 years.
Included in the ceremonies were volunteer firefighters, fire captains, operations department truck drivers, and office staff.

Employees were honoured with either a watch or cash as well as a congratulatory certificate from the township.
