You can take steps to make sure your car isn’t broken into.
That’s the message from OPP Constable Shawn Peever, who says thieves will often just move on if a vehicle is locked.
Peever says you should also be in the habit of locking your car if you’re at home too.

This comes after numerous vehicles in Laurentian Valley were broken into on Sunday and Monday.
