A special weather statement remains in effect in Renfrew County.
Environment Canada says rain will begin Friday afternoon and change to snow overnight. Snow will continue Saturday with about 10 to 15 centimetres possible by Saturday evening.
The weather agency says more snow and ice pellets will move into the area on Sunday before changing to freezing rain in the afternoon, with a chance of it staying until Monday.
