Madawaska Valley is preparing for the possibility of a storm this weekend.
According to Environment Canada the area could see a messy mixture of snow, ice pellets and freezing rain over the course of the next two days.
Madawaska Valley Operations Manager Hilary Kutchkoskie says the roads could get messy as well.

Kutchkoskie also says that while he’s not expecting any flooding when the snow melts, there’s some areas that are more prone to it than others.
Kutchkoskie says if you do experience any flooding, you should contact the township at 613-633-6164.
