There’s a special weather statement in effect for Renfrew County as a messy mix of snow, ice pellets and freezing rain is expected this weekend.
Environment Canada says snow and ice pellets will start tomorrow night and into Saturday night, with up to several hours of freezing rain on Sunday.
The weather agency is still uncertain how much precipitation will fall, but says it could be a high impact storm.
