Students at Madawaska Valley District High School are paying tribute to victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
Tomorrow, students in the school will wear their hockey and sports jerseys to pay respect to the 15 victims from the crash Friday night in Saskatchewan.
Erin Browne, a member of MVDHS Student Council, said the tragic crash hit home for lots of the school despite being over 2500 kilometres away.

Browne says student council has been making a big push to get the word out about jersey day on such short notice.
Since the crash on Friday, a Go Fund Me Page to raise money to support family members has raised over $6 million. While there’s no official fundraiser at MVDHS yet, Browne says she wouldn’t be surprised if one starts.
