A Madawaska Valley Councillor is excited for the future of the Wilno Rink.
This comes after it was announced the rink would be receiving $150,000 through an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant.
Madawaska Valley Councillor Carl Bromwich says the rink has always been supported by local townships and excitement is buzzing about the funding.

Bromwich says the rink is used by lots of residents, and not just from Wilno.
President of the Wilno Rink, Constance Leahy-Bersan, said volunteers were very optimistic when applying for the grant because of the growth in users in the last five years.
