Madawaska Valley Council will convene tonight.
While regular council meetings typically fall on the first and third Mondays of each month, because of Easter Monday the first meeting of this month is being held today instead.
Items on the agenda include funding amounts for Main Street Revitalization Projects, the annual Bay Day Event, a report on the Madawaska Valley Fitness Centre and township-funded bursaries for local high-school students.
