The Railway Station Tourism Centre and Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre will no longer be advertised in the local Yellowpages.
The topic was discussed at Monday afternoon’s Finance and Administration Committee Meeting. Committee learned that the advertising costs monthly cost the township $92, which works out to over $1100 per year and is automatically renewed.
Committee agrees the decision for removing the advertising has a lot to do with the digital age and accessibility to the same information on the internet at no cost.

The recommendation is expected to be on next Tuesday’s Regular Council Meeting.
