Valley Manor is getting some new beds with some help from the province.
The funding is part of a province initiative called the Enhanced Long-Term Care Home Renewal Strategy, which will see Valley Manor get six more beds for residents. Valley Manor CEO Trisha Sammon says the new beds will help with their redevelopment.

The province says it plans on adding more than 30,000 new long-term care beds within the next ten years.
