If you don’t plan on putting your ashes out for curbside pickup, you’re being reminded to store them properly.
That’s the message from Madawaska Valley Fire Chief Corwin Quade, who says if you plan on storing your ashes, make sure they aren’t somewhere at risk.
Quade says a metal container is best for storing them as opposed to other alternatives.
