Facilities in Pembroke and Dacre have been nominated for the Kraft Heinz Project Play.
Kinsmen Pool in Pembroke and the Dacre and Area Community Association have both been nominated for the $250,000 grand prize that would be used towards upgrades.
Kinsmen pools upgrades would be updates to the pool’s infrastructure to make sure it stays safe. Meanwhile, Dacre’s community centre would be getting news tennis and basketball courts.
Application deadlines for the Kraft Heinz Project Play are today. The project has contributed over 2.2 million dollars to 68 communities in Canada in the past.
