On Saturday, Hastings Highlands residents can get rid of hazardous waste from their homes.
A household hazardous waste day is being held on Saturday, which is a chance to get rid of things like automotive and garage products, along with household cleaning products, paint and paint related materials, and pesticides and garden products. The waste day is happening Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Logger’s Field on ANAF Road in Maynooth.
Operations Manager Adrian Tomasini is asking anyone attending the waste day to use the entrance off ANAF Road. Staff will be on hand to inspect what you bring, and check that you are a Hastings Highlands resident or ratepayer.
Another household hazardous waste day is coming up on Saturday, October 14th.
