Hastings Taxes Set to Increase by Less than One Per Cent Under New Budget

Hastings Highlands says its tax rate will be increasing by point-six-two per cent.

Treasurer David Stewart says this increase takes into account the Municipal, County and Education System tax rates.

Compared to 2016, this represents an increase of $14 dollars to a home assessed at $188,000 in Hastings Highlands, the median assessment.
