Municipalities in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties will be paying more services from the local health unit.
Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health says municipalities will be paying just over $8,500 this year, which is a one per cent increase from last.
The health unit says staff has made adjustments internally to minimize the increase.
It will help make sure the health unit can continue to provide services ranging from prenatal classes, to vaccinations, to preventing childhood injuries.
