Special Canoe Event Set for Canada’s 150th in Algonquin Park

Outdoor enthusiasts will have a very special way to celebrate Canada’s 150th.

On June 25th, the event 150 for 150 will feature an armada of canoes raising a special Canadian flag on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park.

The flag is a mix of the love of canoeing and the love of Canada.

Organizer David Lee says he wanted to come up with a special way to bring the two together for the 150 celebrations.
