The Scotiabank in Maynooth has officially closed its doors.
As of today, the branch will no longer be open and will consolidate with the Bancroft location.
Director of Canadian Banking Communications Heather Armstrong says the branch was closed because a lot of customers are moving to digital and online banking.
The municipality is still looking for a new bank or credit union to fill the space in Maynooth.
