All RCJTC Busses Cancelled, Freezing Rain Warning Issued for Renfrew County

Environment Canada’s special weather statement has become a warning calling for freezing rain this morning.

As a result the R-C-J-T-C has cancelled school busses across the county this morning.

The cancellations affect Palmer Rapids Public, P-A-L Barry’s Bay, Sherwood Public, St. John Bosco Catholic, George Vanier and M-V-D-H-S in the Madawaska Valley.

Driving conditions are expected to be severely impacted and our local OPP is asking drivers to slow down in the slippery conditions.

The warning is expected to be lifted later today in Renfrew County as temperatures rise.
