The Stone Fence Theatre’s production of High Times at the Heart Institute makes its stop in Barry’s Bay this weekend.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be going to the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation.

Playwright Ish Theilheimer says the story is inspired by his own experiences in Renfrew County.

He spent time in Barry’s Bay, Renfrew and Pembroke as a Heart patient.

Theilheimer says comedy is a great way to get people to think about subjects that make us uncomfortable, such as our own mortality.

The play even features two working nurses from Renfrew County who he met during treatment.

Doors open at MVDHS on Saturday night at 6:00pm.

You find tickets at:

Afleskie’s Shoes (both locations)

St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation Offices (hospital)

Lorraine’s Pharmasave
